Our Vision:

“We are a growing family united by a love for God and others"

Our Mission:

“Our mission is to be a growing family of believers united by our commitment to love and serve God and one another through worship that inspires, study that empowers and relationships that encourage.  By the power of the Holy Spirit, we will share our faith with others and live lives that reflect God’s love and grace so that others may receive the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord.”

 Our Core Values:

G…..God’s Word as our way of life

We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired perfect word.  Through study, we seek to grow in our understanding of God’s Word to make scripturally-sound decisions and apply that knowledge to our daily living.

Am I spending time learning and applying God’s Word?

R…..Reaching out with Christ’s love to others

We have been adopted into God’s family.  This has happened through no merit of our own but because of Christ’s love for us.  As an expression of our gratitude to him, we want to share that love with others and show Christ’s love by serving others.  As a body of believers we walk together united in love for one another.

Am I loving and serving others with sincerity and devotion?

A…..Allowing God to change us by his Word and Spirit

We recognize that we are powerless to change ourselves.  We are totally dependent on God to change us.  He changes us as an act of his grace.  Therefore, we extend grace to one another.  We recognize that it is not our job to change others.  God does this in each of us by giving us the Holy Spirit who applies the truth of God’s Word to our lives.  We simply ask God to change each of us as he desires and we give him the credit as he makes us more like Jesus.

Am I asking God to change me to make me more like Jesus?

C…..Celebrating God’s love and grace through joyful worship and prayer

We were created to glorify God and enjoy him forever.  The Bible teaches that God is pleased when his people celebrate him.  Therefore, our worship will be highly participatory, for him alone, with all the passion he has given us.  Our worship will inspire us to acts of love and service.  Because prayer is our ultimate act of dependence upon God and vital to discerning his will, it is the foundation of all we do.

Am I attending worship or am I worshipping?

Am I seeking God’s will through prayer?

E…..Everyone, every age matters to God and to us

We are a family united as one body who are committed to breaking down all boundaries that unnecessarily divide people including boundaries that are generational, ethnic, racial, and economic.  We are one body, under the authority of God’s Word, celebrating God’s work in each of our lives.

Am I learning to include people who are outside my typical network of relationships?
